Please, come down.

When you place yourself on top of the mountain everything looks smaller to you, but you also look small to everyone else.

brilliant. this story is related, i swear:
i forgot to put my bra back on after trying on clothes in a store yesterday (mortifying!) I realize this a few blocks into my walk home and some girl with her friend passes by and says "skank."
and i'm like...okay...im not actually. I think this is just as bizarre looking as you do. but what if i didnt? what if i was a skank and that girl isn't one. I think the moment she said that she was better than me, it made her not better. it made her smaller

Yep, people are always projecting their fears, their issues onto others. It's normal to get angry or sad, but in the end you realize it's their own unhappiness and unfortunately you can't decide change for them.
PS. I don't always wear a bra too :-D

*there is also the self-isolation thing about 'being on top of the mountain'

interesting the way we can see the others and ourselves ... our position , sometimes, is unconsciously different from we think

True... and I haven't found out yet if it does good to let people know. (except from writing on your blog)
