Imagine... there's no money

In my searches for an affordable baby bed I stumbled upon a site, found a good seller and wrote a message. So far so good (and normal, you might add).

Leonor wrote back telling me she checked our site, was impressed... And here is where the cool part of the story begins: she said she didn't want money for the bed, but instead I could create T-shirts for her and her twins!

Wasn't that awesome? I immediately started to think how nice the world would be if we went back to exchanging items + services.

Then one thing led to another and I began to wonder how our lives would be like if one wouldn't have five cars meanwhile another is struggling for tomorrow. Do we really need to pay to live on the planet that we were born? How about paying for water + gas, are those companies sharing their earnings with our beloved Earth? Am I really in a financial crisis when I afford dinner tonight while people in another country actually die of hunger? (can you really imagine how that feels? are their lives less precious than mine? what does equal opportunity really mean?)

Ocean T-shirt

Hello from near the ocean.

You might think this is a long-winding descriptive post about how beautiful the sights are on this Portuguese coast. It's not.

If you visit kittn blog you already know it's all about human nature.

These days I've been focusing a lot on how much time of our lives we waste with intrigues, unhealthy games + complications instead of experiencing, discovering, living and actually honoring the place.

We judge and we hate without even trying to see more than what meets the eye. We always wait for another to make a change first.

Here near the ocean everyone has positions, statuses, education, hierarchies, grades.

But the funny thing is when you look down they all have sand on their feet.

Boxing "anger management" t-shirt

Sh#t happens? Of course. People just don't give a f#ck? Yeah.

But don't let them get you down.

Just be on your way, you are stronger than you think you are.

Fight for your rights!

Polyvore sets...

... from Airrad featuring kitten t-shirts. Very hip and urban, very smart casual: I love her sense of fashion...
... just look how pretty she combined kitten dance with the orange skirt!

Just like my dreams, red gold and green.

To me autumn feels a lot like spring, just like wonderful beginnings, like catching the fine line between night and sunrise. I wish for words, but words are nothing when you want to draw feelings.

I feel this past week was... red. Warm and spontaneous, anxious and mad and warm again.
Without a lot of words, I am right where I want to be.

And no, I am not in love. I just love life.

And you, how do YOU feel this autumn?

As I see it.

These past weeks I learned by feeling and thinking about relationships and couples. If I knew that giving and getting must be equal in theory, I found reality also demands it. We might feel lonely and useless when we only give. There's only pain if winning takes place of partnership.
I'm sure you've heard that relationships need work, but I feel this work must be more like a negociation than an effort. Things should come naturally...

I also learned about courage and strenght and other qualities I keep close at heart. So when in doubt, first you should ask yourself: What about what I want?
